Making the Decision to See A Therapist There is something in every one of you that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in yourself ~Howard Thurman

The decision to seek counseling is a big step towards creating the kind of life you want.  Congratulations!  Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with, and who you feel can be helpful to you can be daunting ~ yet it is an important part of the process.  In my work with you, I will always endeavor to create a supportive and warm relationship with you.

My approach to helping people obtain their goals is based on my understanding that we are all highly motivated to achieve happiness, success and good relationships.  Traumas and misunderstandings experienced in infancy and childhood can leave us with powerful, harmful, negative beliefs about ourselves and impede us from obtaining our goals.

It is important to understand that no technique or theory can help people to heal without a caring and genuine relationship with a therapist we feel supported by.  I feel fortunate to have had this kind of experience, and thus, this is my approach  to helping others.
